Unboxing & Inspection

The We-Vibe Melt comes in a sturdy box typical of We-Vibe toys. It’s got a slim design and is made with really nice soft, supple silicone material so it feels great in your hand and on your skin. It comes with a user manual, magnetic charging cable, and little drawstring storage bag.

The mouth of the Melt measures about 7/8″ long x 1/2″ wide, and it’s slightly flexible. The buttons are right above the charging contacts. The Melt has 12 intensities, but it’s also compatible with the We-Vibe app for more play and control options.

My Experience Using the We-Vibe Melt

The Melt feels great in your hand and even better on your clit. The silicone coating is soft and supple stuff, so the mouth that make contact with your sensitive bits has a gentle point of contact. It’s got this low-profile ergonomic design that appeals to me beyond just being easy to fit between bodies during play… I just really enjoy how slim and minimalistic it looks.

Before use, I like to put lube on myself rather than applying it to air pulse toys because I worry about lube getting down into the pulsing mechanism.

The Melt has a broad range of 12 pre-set intensities to suit a wide audience, whether you prefer more gentle stimulation or super intense. Personally, I find the medium levels to be adequate, and I tend to use a level or two lower if I’m feeling particularly sensitive.

You can either press +/- buttons to move up or down speeds or hold down the +/- buttons for a more gradual increase or decrease of intensity. The “press and hold” option is nice for when you’re mid-play and just really need and quick transition to a few levels up or down. The toy is very quick and responsive in this regard.

The preset patterns on the toy are just continual vibrations (no patterns), so I’ve also really enjoyed the app for more variety and vibe options. I find, however, that I tend to just use it manually for the most part – I’m not a big masturbation multi-tasker. Still, with the We-Vibe app you can create and save patterns or invite a partner to control your Melt from their device.

In terms of volume, the Melt is pretty quiet: when measured from about 10 ft away, it’s about 39dB when on full power and only about 32dB at its medium setting.
