The Womanizer Blend, an Absolute Treat: Product Review (2024)

Earlier this year, Womanizer released the Blend: a combination of air pulse clitoral stimulation and rumbly internal vibrations. Let me just say: I regret waiting to test it because it’s just about perfect, imo. The Womanizer Blend is comparable to the Duo 2 and super simple to operate, but it’s cheaper ($119.00 vs $149.99) and has a shorter insertion arm. Let’s talk about!
Unboxing & Inspection
The Blend and its accoutrements come in a mid-sized sturdy box. It would make a great gift too: typical of Womanizer, everything about the packaging feels high-end. You slide the internal box out of the sturdy sleeve and peel back a semi-translucent sheet to reveal the Blend inside. The toy comes in 3 pretty colorways: Vibrant Rose (shown here), Blue and Pink.
When you first handle it, the quality of the material is apparent. The silicone is perfectly smooth and almost feels warm to the touch. The Blend’s clitoral stimulator head is removable for easy cleaning. Its insertion arm is pretty short and compact, so it’s ideal for shallow penetration. It’s got a black magnetic charging cable and extra-detailed instructions packed separately in a smaller box nestled in beside of the Blend.
The internal arm is super flexible, and it doesn’t have a “hingy’ or creaky feeling. It moves gently with you and has a good range of motion. It’s shorter than the Womanizer Duo 2, so the Blend is best for shallow penetration.
Charge time is 90 minutes, and run time is 90 minutes. You’ll know the blend has a low battery when the red indicator light below the pattern button starts flashing. The red light flashes during charging and stays solid when fully charged.

As with all Womanizer toys, the Blend has a 5-year warranty, which is pretty extensive compared to the industry standard (1-2 years). (For what it’s worth, I’ve never had to help a customer submit or dispute a warranty claim with Womanizer.)
My Experience with the Womanizer Blend
The first time I ever used this, I stimulated myself externally with it a bit just for experiment’s sake, and I ended up continuing and finishing my session with zero lube. When I removed the toy, it was totally dripping – no exaggeration. (I wouldn’t recommend forcing this in anyway – going without lube isn’t possible for some bodies and can also depend on a range of variables, such as hormonal levels). For me, that particular experiment was pretty satisfying – just grab and go, you know? BUT I don’t expect that to be consistently repeatable.
When the Blend is on and inside, you can feel that it conforms to the body really well. I told my friend that it felt like it kinda “latched on” to my clit. I like to use it while I lay on my side, and watch stuff on my phone, daydream, or spoon with my partner while he reaches around to touch me or play with it. I’m pleasantly reminded of how well the Blend stays in place when I’m in that position on my side; squirming, grinding, spooning – it’s right where I need it to be. This isn’t always the case with dual stim toys.
With the Blend, you control the internal arm and external clitoral arm independently for a custom experience. You can modulate each of the 6 internal vibration modes (3 vibe intensities and 3 patterns) with 8 different clitoral air pulse intensity options. Right now, the best air pulse intensity for me is right in the middle; the #3 and #4 intensities. IMO, this is an indication of a pretty versatile toy that’s well-suited to a range of preferences and tolerances. It just seems like a well configured device. It feels balanced.
Much of time, I don’t really distinguish between the stimulation of the internal arm and the external air pulses- I guess that’s part of why it’s called the Blend! 🙂 You can briefly lift the pleasure air pulse off your body if you need a quick break (and you probably will need it, because the air pulse can be STRONG… love it!). Though the clitoral head is removeable, it never slipped out of place during use. I mention that because I tend to press down and/or squirm around quite a bit. At first, I felt inclined to check a couple times to make sure I didn’t knock it askew, but it always remains in place.
It’s so quiet that it’s nearly inaudible to me while using it under the covers. When you do lift the clitoral air stimulator from your skin, that part will make a slightly louder “purring” noise, but it’s only about 30 dB (lowest setting) or ~41 dB (highest setting) and can quickly be muffled again by putting it against your skin again. When it’s against skin, it only registered at about 29 dB (lowest setting) and 37 dB (highest setting) when I measured it from 10 ft away. So overall, the Womanizer Blend is super quiet!
Final Thoughts
I love how the Blend “latches” onto my clit and stays put while I enjoy it, change positions… whatever. It fits perfectly in and against my body. Even its lower intensity vibe levels feel gentle, tender almost – but definitely still stimulating enough to keep me engaged and going. To put it simply, I am soaking wet and shaky by the end of my sessions with the Blend. It always gives me a thorough endorphin rush.
The way that the clitoral air stimulation and internal vibrator work together really makes for a blended experience, so its name makes sense! One part of the toy doesn’t overpower the other. I also love the fact that I am usually happy with medium-intensity modes on the Blend. It offers versatility in either direction; there is room to increase or decrease intensity depending on my sensitivity or needs at the time. I get less excited about toys that I have to use at their highest vibe level, so the Blend is great in that way.
Remember that Womanizer toys have a 5-year warranty, whether you buy them through a retail store/site or direct. I have a lot of trust in this manufacturer and the quality of its line, and we’ve never had issues with a Womanizer warranty claim.
