Unboxing and Inspection

These lil guys come in 3 colors and clit functionalities: “Marina Lilac” (pictured here) which massages but I call it thumping, “Coral Throb” (throbs), and “Ocean Peak Blue” (flicks). I chose the massaging Marina Lilac because I like a broader, thumping kind of stimulation.

In the box, you’ve got the Unihorn C Horse, the user manual in many languages, a cute little collectable card, and the charging cable.

The packaging is cartoony and adorable, but the toy itself doesn’t feel cheap or silly. My first impression was that the silicone felt very supple and smooth, and the toy was charged on arrival, which I can appreciate.

The buttons on the Unihorn’s mane are raised and easy to locate and press. The insertable “tail” has one hinge to adjust for a comfortable fit. The range of motion is pretty generous, so you have a bit of scope to play with. It can bend at almost a 90-degree angle.

The magnetic charging contacts are on the back of the toy under its mane, and you hold the power button down for 2 seconds to turn it on. From there, you control the separate clit and tail motors independently using the power and wave icon buttons, respectively.

The cable for the original Unihorn vibrators will work for the Unihorn C Horse. The contacts are a hair wider on the older cable than the newer C Horse cable, but they do transmit a charge (and vice versa, the C Horse cable will charge the original Unihorns).

My Experience Using the Unihorn C Horse (the Massaging One)

I’ll cut to the chase: I love this vibrator. It’s cute and fun and makes me a little happier every time I see it – I am a horse girl after all. But it’s also not a joke: it delivers.

When I first tried the OG Unihorns (love the Blue Flicking Tongue one!), I longed for a little insertable component, even a little shallow penetrative nub or something, so I love that the manufacturer (Creative Conceptions) added a “tail” of modest length and diameter. It’s just enough, and yet the vibes are pretty strong! I first tried just the clit stim by itself and was pleased to see that the strength was more than adequate. Pressing my finger down on it, I can stop it, but when put to real use, I didn’t have this issue.

I was already squirming 2 mins in at the medium intensity. I like a few of the patterns, especially #7 and 8 for clit stim, which are both progressive pulse patterns. I don’t really care for a few of the patterns which have brief pauses, however, I do like the g-spot vibe patterns that have a pause. In my opinion, since the internal arm isn’t very rumbly (the clit stimulation makes up for that), it feels good to have that stimulation kind of wax and wane during continual clit thumping. That way, you don’t really get numb to the stimulation, and the clitoral sensations get a little spotlight every few seconds. It’s makes for a nice sensory contrast.

I find that bending the hinged tail about midway between its two extremes works best for me personally, and the hinge seems to stay in place pretty well. During use, the button position is a little counterintuitive because the one that controls the clit stimulation is closer to the tail, and the button that controls the g-spot “tail” is closest to the top. This didn’t create issues for me since I pretty much rocked it with the same g-spot vibration setting while I kept a finger on the clit button and cruised through patterns.

The Unihorn C Horse isn’t loud, just about 35dB when running at the highest intensities, so you should be able to play pretty discreetly. When you’re done, the C Horse isn’t fully waterproof, so just wipe it down or splash it with some warm water and mild soap to clean. You’ll want to make sure you clean the clit stimulation part adequately since there is a notable crevice around the “massaging” muzzle.

Charge and run times are pretty standard for the C Horse; about 1.5 hrs to charge for 1 hr of run time. You can tell it’s charging if the light is blinking, and the light will remain on once it’s fully charged.

Final Thoughts

Adjustable, affordable, body-safe, with clit thumping that’s strong enough to get the job done? Yep! I really like how this little toy checks all the big boxes. I’d love if it were waterproof, but I can live with splashing it with water for cleaning versus dunking it. The Unihorn C Horses are among the top toys on my list, particularly as an affordable dual stimulation vibrator. 💜
