Lovense Domi 2 Review (2024): Fun with Apps!

The Lovense Domi 2 is a popular compact wand that is strong, rumbly, and has enough rigidity in its head for intense, focused stimulation. It’s also compatible with the Lovense Remote app, which is known for good connectivity and features. I’d say it’s comparable to the Magic Wand Mini in terms of size and reliability, but it’s got some distinguishing characteristics. Let’s get into it!
Unboxing & Inspection
Like other Lovense toys, the Domi 2 comes in a sturdy box, which includes the instruction manual, a black silky storage bag, and a USB charging cable.
In appearance, the Domi 2 is low profile: slim, sleek, and has a slightly more rounded and tapered head than my other favorite compact wand, the Magic Wand Mini. It feels a little heavier (10.6 oz vs the Magic Wand Mini at 9.9 oz), and its handle has a contoured matte-finish (easy to grip; won’t slip) versus the potentially more slippery Magic Wand handles. It’s not waterproof either, just water-resistant.
There is a tiny bit of flex in the neck of the Domi, but it’s still firm enough to focus the pressure that I need. There have been a few wands in the past that we’ve issued warranty claims on for broken necks (with typical pressure and usage), but we haven’t seen that issue at all with the Domi- it seems to hold up well to typical usage.
Just below the neck of the wand, the Domi 2 has a metallic yet translucent trim that lights up during use. The lights inside this ring pulse with the vibration patterns. The singular red light above the buttons turns on during charging and when on standby. It turns off when fully charged, which takes about 160 mins.

My Experience Using the Domi 2
Several times I’ve powered on the Domi 2 and for 1-2 seconds, the whole body of the wand – handle and all – vibrates. It’s not consistent, but it’s something to note.
To power it on, hold the up-arrow button for 3 seconds, and then click the same button once to start through the vibration patterns. This isn’t the most intuitive, but you also hold that button down to turn it off, as opposed to the down-arrow button. The down arrow button just takes you back to the previous mode.
If you’ve landed here because you’re in the market for a mid-sized wand and trying to decide between the Domi 2 and the Magic Wand Mini, I found the Domi 2 to feel stronger and more rumbly. However, its strongest setting is usually too much for me to handle for a sustained period of time. It’s better in spurts, in my opinion. It is a little louder than the Magic Wand Mini (by my measurement, about 38 dB compared to the Mini’s 32 dB), but I didn’t find it to be noticeable if used under the covers.
Another distinguishing feature of the Domi 2 is it has 3 standard vibration speeds and 4 pre-set vibe patterns. (Magic Wand Mini just has 3 vibration speeds and no patterns.) BUT the Domi 2 can also be paired with the Lovense Remote app to access nearly infinite options like pairing with other Lovense devices, Control Roulette (let another user control your toy), share user-created patterns (I love this), and create and save your own patterns.
I loved trying other user-created patterns, especially the ones that go on and on… there are some that go for like an hour+! There are some really nice patterns on the app; you can sort by popularity. On a related note, the Domi 2 has a 5-6 hour run time on a full charge, so it’s got your back for those longer sessions! What’s nice is that the Lovense Remote app can run in the background, so you can enjoy a nice, programmed pattern while scrolling. Or if you accidentally exit the app, the vibes will persist!
You can also try the AI Sync feature through the VibeMate app. I tried this and LOVED it. It’s really easy to pair your devices by logging into your existing Lovense account, and there is no extra cost to enjoy the available adult content.
There are also some fun attachments that make the Domi even more versatile. There’s the Lovense P-spot attachment and the G-spot attachment.

Final Thoughts
I love the sleek, low-profile aesthetic of the Domi 2 wand. I also love that it feels durable and that it has so many options for connection and app integration. Those are really my favorite aspects of the Domi 2: it’s a techy-toy! I can be a lazy masturbator; I want to relax and let a toy take me somewhere… sometimes I don’t wanna think about it too much or put in too much effort. Lovense allows you to set yourself up pretty nicely in this way: choose a video or user-created pattern; maybe connect with an anonymous stranger, and buckle in for the ride. <3
